According to Daily Trust, her husband Anayochukwu Njoku abandoned her after she gave birth to conjoined twins in the hospital.

The responsibility of the twins names Good luck and Rejoice Njoku was taken up by the Imo foundation, the organ of the government responsible for humanitarian activities in the state.
The foundation took the twins into it’s care after the burial of their mother and are now making arranged to separate the twins.
