Simi Biography
Simisola Ogunleye, simply known as Simi was born in Ojuelegba, Surulere, Lagos State.

She attended Stars International College, in Ikorodu, Lagos State, thereafter she went on to study mass communication at Covenant University. Simi started her music career at age 10 which was when she wrote her first song.
Her first studio album ‘Ogaju’ was released in 2008. It was produced by Samklef. In 2014, Simi was signed to X3M Music. She released hit songs during that time, some of which include; Tiff, Jamb Question, Love Don’t Care, Smile For Me, and Duduke. She has also sung in several hit records like Soldier with Falz, No Forget with Adekunle Gold and Orire with Legendary Beatz.
The ‘Duduke’ singer debuted her second album “Jamb Question” in 2016. Her third album “Omo Charlie Champagne” was released on the 19th of April, 2019 she featured other musicians like Patoranking, Maleek Berry, Falz, and her husband, with whom she tied the knot in January 2019, Adekunle Gold. Their union has been blessed with a baby girl named Adejare.
Simi’s Record Label – Biography
After Simi’s exit from X3M Music, she announced the launch of her record label – Studio Brat in June 2019.
In 2020, Simi put out her highly anticipated project titled “Restless II” EP.

Simi’s fourth studio project, “Restless II” has 6 solid tracks that feature stars like Ms. Banks, WurlD, and Adekunle Gold.
