Ayangbesan claimed that he had no knowledge of how to perform money-making rituals as a traditionalist and was referred to Oye, also known as Egbeji in Isiwo, by Lukman.
After learning from Oye, Ayangbesan burned the legs and planned to complete the ritual when he returned from Ajah.
However, his daughter informed him that the police were looking for him while he was in Ajah, prompting him to sneak back home and take the burned legs away.
