Football might be returning to the dark times once again, as the premier league sounds the Covid-19 alarm.
Premier League clubs are expected to return to emergency measures from Wednesday, due to new Covid rules in the UK.
The reimposed protocols include wearing masks indoors, therapy taking no longer than 15 minutes and medical staff wearing full PPE when in contact with players.
According to UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, the government is introducing its ‘Plan B’ to fight the spread of Omicron on Wednesday.
Fans must now present proof of double vaccination or a negative test result to attend sporting events with crowds of more than 10,000 people in England.
