It seems the lady had suspected something from the moment she boarded the brt as she began to inform her friend of all she was noticing.
Firstly the driver didn’t stop to pick more passengers as they continued on the journey and the man kept trying to flirt with her.
In the vns she sent to her friend it was revealed that the driver had told her that he liked her and started to ask for information about her.
She asked her friend to pray for her safety. Due to the suspicions she had expressed, her friend asked her to alight the bus. Miss Oluwabamise sent a video to her friend to show her how dark it was and also to show her the numbers of people in the bus, they were five other passengers.
The last message she sent to her friend that night was “pray for me”.
Unfortunately, the young lady was reportedly found dead on Sunday 6th of March in Lagos island.
In a statement made by the senior special assistant to governor Sanwo-olu, Jubril Gawat, he confirmed that the brt driver has been arrested.
We await further information concerning his arrest.
