Thomas Tuchel has bagged his first win as Chelsea’s head coach courtesy of some fine strikes from Cesar Azpilicueta and Marcos Alonso, who both struck the net to help the blues defeat Burnley 2-0.
Chelsea’s skipper Azpilicueta opened the goal tally for Chelsea, when he sent in Callum Hudson-Odoi’s lay-off past Nick Pope and into the net a few moments before half-time.
Marcos Alonso then doubled Chelsea’s lead with a world class finish, as he expertly handled Christian Pulisic’s cross, then struck it on the volley over Burnley’s keeper and into the net.
This Chelsea victory, means they have now recorded their second successive clean sheet under new head coach Thomas Tuchel, and they now move up from 10th to 7th place on the league table.
