Married Man Allegedly Beats Up His Side Chick For Attending A Wedding Without His Permission

Egbuonu Obiechina has been accused of allegedly beating up his side chic, and mother of his child in Owerri, Imo state.

The incident took place on the 28th of December, 2021 after the side chic attended a wedding without seeking his consent. Despite living in Abia with his wife and three children, Egbuonu, he still travelled all the way to Owerri where he’d rented an apartment for his side chic and child to beat her.

According to a source, Egbuonu had deceived her by telling her that he wasn’t married and then got her pregnant despite already having children. After getting her pregnant he began to take care of them and even rented an apartment.

Ever since he has been controlling her life and restricting her movement. Which is why he beat her up after she went to a secondary school classmate’s wedding and it doesn’t seem like action is going to be taken against him.

According to the source ” Nobody wants to do anything not even her mother because she’s scared that he won’t help them again. First, he deceived her that he wasn’t married and got her pregnant.

Then he rented an apartment for her and started controlling her move, never allowing her to go out and mingle with friends.

I don’t want her to back to this situation neither does she want to go back but with the entire situation that she’s in she might end up going back.”
