Manchester United Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admit the Red devils mess won’t be a quick-fix job
The Norwegian admit in an interview that Manchester United won’t be going back to winning ways sooner as everyone expect, the manager revealed that United mess is too big to be fixed overnight.
United got just nine (9) points from their first seven (7) games which means Manchester United has not gotten up to 10 points in their first 7 games for the first time in the premier league era and they are looking nothing special to comeback from the disappointing start to the campaign, as they keep losing point.
The club who was famous for its outstanding achievement is now a subject of mockery, the red devils last lifted a premier league title in 2013, when the club was managed by Sir Alex Ferguson, and has since been a regular disappointing team as it has been left out of the top four finish on many occasions including last season.
Ole Gunnar looked like he was going to revive the club sooner as he superbly won his first 12 matches for the club during his interim management, including a brilliant comeback against Paris Saint Germain, but the Red’s were dealt a blow by Spanish side Barcelona in the next round and everything turned sour for Ole and his men.
The Manager in a recent interview mentioned it won’t be a quick-fix job to redeemed United, He Stated; “It’s not like the situation we had last year. There’s no lack of desire there.
“For us it’s about building a new culture, building a new team, bringing everybody together. Is it the job I expected? Yes. I never said this was going to be a quick-fix job. It’s step after step after step.
“Of course, we’ve hit a few bumps in the road, I never said this was going to be a quick-fix job. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
“We need time, and the attitude of the boys has been great. [We must] keep working on improving the understanding and relationships between all players, and the style we want to play,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports.
