Man Runs To Police Station After Murdering His Friend
Oluwagbemiga Shogbola reportedly stabbed his friend, Victor Olabiyo, to death over $150 (N61,950) proceeds of a business deal.

The incident occurred in the Ikenne Local Government Area of Ogun State.
This was after Shogbola, aka Oja or Federal, accused the victim of cheating him and taking all the money to himself. The argument became a fight between the men.

Around 8pm on Tuesday, Shogbola was said to have posted a picture of Olabiyo on his WhatsApp status with a tag, ‘RIP and at around 11pm, he reportedly stabbed the victim to death.
After the incident, the suspect was given a chase as he tried to flee the scene by boarding a motorcycle. Due to the blood stains on his shirt, motorcyclists were said to have turned down his request for a ride.
Shogbola reportedly raced to the Ilishan-Remo Police Station, where he handed himself over to the police possibly out of fear of being lynched by those chasing him.
The body of the deceased was deposited in the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu. This was confirmed by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi.
