Man reveals what happened to his relationship after his girlfriend moved to the UK.

While @sonofman on twitter, was in his first year medical school, , his girlfriend gave him the news that she would be traveling to the UK and all she needed was her plane ticket.

The news unsettled him and he wasn’t sure if he wanted to let her go. He felt confused and sad, he thought it and chose to let her go, thinking if they were meant to be, the distance wouldn’t be a problem to their relationship.

Before she left, he took her to the salon to get her hair done, and then gave her the money for her plane ticket. Since his girlfriend left Nigeria, she hasn’t returned to Nigeria and he didn’t get the chance to leave the country until 7 years later after his internship.

Sonofman revealed that during his years in medical his girlfriend was there for him. She sent him clothes, phones and designer perfumes. She called him everyday and even got him his first laptop.

Their relationship was still strong though they were miles apart. He was there to support her as well, occasionally sent her food stuffs. When he got to the UK, they got married and their marriage is blessed with children.

The twitter user wrote that a marriage should be a union of purpose and vision. Couples should always try to encourage each other to pursue their dreams and accomplish their goals.
