Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne has been named Premier League Player of the Season 2019/2020.
The Belgian midfielder was the only Manchester City player to be nominated for the award after the English club lost thier Premier League title to Liverpool after being champions for two seasons straight.
However despite not achieving the degree of success they had in previous seasons, City player De Bruyne had his most productive season since he arrived Etihad in 2015.
De Bruyne had a total of 20 assists – equalling Thierry Henry’s league record – he also scored 13 times, ensuring Manchester City had the highest number of goals for the third successive season.
