How A Lady Died Due To The Mistake Made By Doctors During A Casearan Section

Rev Kelvin Ugwu recently shared the story of how a Lady died after a mistake made by doctors during a casearan section. While he was working in Lagos in 2016, a parishioner reached out to him for him to pray for her neighbor.

When he got to the neighbor’s house, he found a woman laying naked on the bed writhing in pain, with a stomach as swollen like that of a pregnant woman.

He was told by the parishioner that the woman was not pregnant and had already delivered a baby girl through casearan section in January. The pain began after the procedure, the stitches loosened a few days after and she had to stitched again but the pain continued.

She kept going to the hospital but they insisted she was medically fine and then they began to seek spiritual help, going from one church to another. Five months later, her stomach had grown and the pain had intensified.

The scans still said there was nothing medically wrong with her. Rev. Kelvin prayed for her and then insisted they go for another scan, she was taken and this time the scan revealed something else. There was a piece of cloth in her lower abdomen around the intestine.

The doctor said it was forgotten during her C-section months before as it had already decayed and gotten entangled and then caused major damage to her body. They decided on an operation to remove the remnants of the cloth though the chances of her survival were slim.

The operation was successful but she went into a coma and she never woke up. She never got to enjoy motherhood.
