The Secretary general of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, has reacted to the killing of the EndSARS protesters in Lekki tollgate, Lagos.
Antonio Guterres condemned the escalation of violence in the country and called for an end to police brutality.

He tweeted “I condemn the escalation of violence in Lagos, Nigeria, which has resulted in multiple deaths & injuries. I call for demonstration to be peaceful and for an end to reported police brutality & abuses. Authorities must investigate these incidents & hold perpetrators accountable”.
