Nigerian actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde MFR, has called on the families of the protestors who lost their lives in the Lekki killings on tuesday to speak up, that is, if people truly died that day.
Majority of the videos and pictures being shared on social media of people allegedly killed by the soldiers in Lekki is now being branded as fake by a lot of people. So the actress tweeted that “if people died during the Lekki Toll assault, let their people speak out Please and if there were no deaths then enough with the sensationalization”.
Omotola also wrote that crime was still committed whether people died or not. The actress called on journalists, investigators to do all in their power to find out the people responsible for “turning the protest into a violent rollercoaster”.
