Its not uncommon for vendors to send their goods to celebrities, so they can wear and then tag them thereby boosting sales for them. Nigerian actress, Tonto Dikeh has come out to criticize the act.
The mother of one, told vendors via her official Instagram page, that they shouldn’t expect her to wear their clothes and then tag them because she doesn’t do things like that. For her, doing something like that is a 1.5 million naira favour.

On her Instagram page, she had written “over 40 outfits/products from about 20 vendors, I truly appreciate this kind gesture.. But pls do not expect me to wear and tag you cause that’s a 1.5 million naira favour you will be asking for… so for your intentions are for tags, I’m sorry I don’t do that…”
This did not sit well with vendors who felt she was being unfair to them. See reactions below.
