Diogo Jota saved the day once again, as the Liverpool man scored the winning penalty to help Liverpool reach the Carabao cup Semi-final.

Liverpool was 2 goals behind Leicester who had a comfortable 3-1 lead when Jota was brought on as a substitute.
Unfortunately for Leicester, Jota brought on Liverpool’s spark with him, as he fired in Minamino’s pass in the 68 minute and further reduced the deficit.
Armed with their new found hope, Liverpool then forced the game level when Minamino scored a fine equalizer from James Milner’s cross.
Unfortunately for Minamino, his heroic acts ended there, as he failed to score his penalty kick and win the game.
With their victory over Leicester, Liverpool now moves onto the semi-final, where they would be facing the gunners for a chance to reach the Carabao cup final.
Fortunately for Liverpool, Leicester’s Bertrand also squandered his chance, which gave Diogo Jota the chance to score the match winner.
