Olufola Jesufemi’s recent post on her facebook page concerning the kind of wedding she had has gotten a lot of reactions from social media users. Jesufemi had a small wedding and she gave her reasons for doing so.
When she met her husband she told him that she didn’t want a loud wedding, he thought she was joking at first so he overlooked it. Later on he realized that she actually meant it and went along with her decision.

It was a personal decision she made herself and she was determined to see it through. Jesufemi wasn’t always such a private person, she was actually an extrovert, comfortable with the crowd but then life happened and she became an introvert.
Now she’s withdrawn from crowds and being around a lot of people stresses her emotionally and might even cause her to break down. This is why she was adamant about a small wedding.

She didn’t want to be pressured into a loud wedding that would be way beyond her budget. As the first daughter in her family, her family was ready to spend and so was that of her husband, but she refused to allow anyone to choose or decide for her what the meaning of wedding is.
She also advised people who read her story that they shouldn’t ever subject themselves to unnecessary pressure by going overboard when It comes to weddings.
