Paris Saint Germain forward Kylian Mbappe has become the world’s youngest player to score 30 Champions League goals as PSG defeated Club Bruges to end the UCL group stage.
While they were assured a spot in the next phase, PSG still showed up in their best form, and Mbappe ended Club Bruges’ chances with a brace in the first 7 minutes.
Lionel Messi also scored a brace to wrap up PSG’s masterclass against Club Brugge who only managed to snag a consolation goal.
Meanwhile, English club Liverpool also made a record in the Champions League tonight, as they became the first ever English team to win all group stage games in the UCL.
AC Milan might have scored the first goal – courtesy of Tomori-, but Liverpool won the battle, as they put 2 goals past AC Milan and ruined the home team’s chance of reaching the UCL last 16.
Unfortunately, Manchester City failed to share the victorious vibe with their English brothers, as they lost 2-1 to RB Leipzig.
If their loss and subsequent dismissal from the Champions League wasn’t enough, Walker’s straight red card would surely be enough to twist the knife in the guts of City fans, as their usually successful team tasted defeat in Germany.
