Spanish football giant and 5 time European champions Barcelona, has been knocked out of the Champions League, following a 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich.

This is the first time in 17 years, Barca would miss the knockout stage of the Champions league.
This humiliating dismissal from the UCL, is a clear indication of Barca’s shambolic status since Messi’s departure.
Bayern launched their first successful attack against Barcelona in the 34th minute, and Thomas Muller scored the opener after heading in Lewandoski’s cross.
The Germans then doubled their lead when Leroy Sane scored with a fine, 30-yard strike that Ter Stegen couldn’t handle.
Jamal Musiala then wrapped up the goal scoring in the second half with a routine-like finish and left Xavi’s Barcelona buried 3 goals under.
However, Barcelona had some good chances to draw ist blood when the match was goalless, but a couple of wasteful strikes from Dembele and a poor finish from Jordi Alba prevented that from happening.
Bayern Munich now moves on to the Last 16 round with a flawless group stage victory.
Meanwhile, Barcelona with their dismissal from the top-flight Europa competition, would be looking forward to the Europa league draw-which takes place in Nyon Switzerland- to know what next.
