Gabon international and now ex-Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has joined Barcelona on a free transfer after leaving Arsenal.
The 32-year-old Gabon striker signed the deal late on Monday evening and the move would be announced on Tuesday.
Aubameyang hasn’t played for the Gunners since a December, but he had scored 92 goals in 163 games before then.
Barcelona feared the Aubameyang move might not be possible after talks seemed to have collapsed earlier on transfer deadline day.
However, Aubameyang had already flown to Spain, and reports later in day said the Gabonese signed for Barcelona.
Aubameyang’s move saves the Gunners about £15m in wages, but it leaves them with just Lacazette and Nketiah as forwards for the rest of the season.
