Kubrat Pulev’s management has threatened to sue heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua if he attempts to skip his proposed bout against Pulev for a Tyson Fury clash.
Joshua was supposed to defend his unified heavyweight titles against mandatory challenger Pulev earlier this year but due to coronavirus the fight was postponed till December this year.
Pulev’s management team spoke out after Eddie Hearn, Joshua’s promoter suggested that his man could skip the Bulgerian boxer to battle with Tyson Fury instead.
According to Ivaylo Gotzez, Pulev’s right-hand man, the team would take legal action if AJ attempts to skip their mandatory challenge.
