Manchester United’s Mason Greenwood is yet to give a response to the rape and assault allegations brought against him.

The 20-year-old was arrested on Sunday after his girlfriend made accusations against him on social media.
Presently, Greater Manchester Police (GMP), says Mason would remain in custody for questioning.
“Detectives have been granted additional time to speak to a man in his 20s who is being held on suspicion of rape and assault of a woman” says GMP.
“Inquiries are ongoing and the victim is being offered specialist support.”
Nike has also insured themselves against backlash by temporarily freezing Greenwood out.
Meanwhile, Manchester United has distanced themselves from the forward, saying he would be returning to training for now.
