AFCON Highlights: Cameroon Begins Tournament With Victory.

2021 African Cup Of Nations AFCON is off to a good start as this year’s hosts Cameroon, came from behind to secure a 2-1 victory over Burkina Faso.

Gustavo Sangare stole the lead for Burkina-Faso with a fine volley in the first half.

Unfortunately, the Burkinabe lost their lead and grip on the game, as Cameroon’s captain Vincent Aboubakar turned the game around with 2 spot-on penalties. 

With their win over Burkina-Faso, Cameroon’s Group A campaign is off to a victorious start.

The tournament continues on Monday, when Morocco faces off with 4 time AFCON Champions Ghana.
