Bitcoin Owner In Tears After Realizing That His Mum Threw Away Broken Laptop on which He Had Saved his N234bn Bitcoin

A Bitcoin Owner has been brought to tears after he realized that his mum had thrown away the broken laptop on which he had bought and saved his Bitcoin worth N234bn.

Ten years ago, he had bought 10,000 Bitcoin for $80 after his friends persuaded him to do so and had transferred them to his computer where he also saved the keys. Up until when cryptocurrency became started gaining popularity, he had completely forgotten about his purchase.

But one day he saw a post made by one of his friends, who had invested around that period, share about how Bitcoin has made him successful. So after seeing the post he went back home to look for the laptop where he had stored the keys and found out that his mum had thrown the old laptop away.

He was shocked hearing this from his mother. “I literally fainted, I was angry, confused, shocked, in denial, sad, raged and so many other emotions.” he wrote. The news broke him and he became bitter about it. He even quit his job because he had lost the motivation.

He still lives with his parents and he’d hoped the Bitcoin would give them the chance to live better lives, the mental stress that put on him is a whole lot.

“For the fact i was a millionaire working in a store unknowingly for years breaks my heart. The amount of pain and severe depression cannot be explained.” he wrote.
