In a surprising twist of events, Everton defeated Arsenal with a late winner to secure their first league win in 9 games.
The gunners claimed the lead after Odegaard scored the opening goal of the
match in the 47th minute.
Everton had earlier this week suffered a 4-1 defeat to Liverpool, which led to their football director Marcel Brands departing the club.
However, Everton refused to suffer another defeat, and Richarlison brought them level in the 79th minute.
However, they were on a much better form, and Richarlison had 2 more goals ruled out by VAR.
Fortunately for Everton, Demarai Gray struck a fine, injury-time strike which went past Arsenal’s goalie and secured the win for them.
They now moves up to 12th on the league table, with a comfortable 8 point cushion from the relegation zone.
