The noose around Ole Gunnar’s neck just tightened further, as Manchester United was subjected to yet another painful defeat at today’s Manchester derby against City.
United’s demise began after their own man Eric Baily scored an own goal in the 7th minute and gifted City the lead, Bernado Silva then added a second goal to Manchester City’s tally in the 45th minute amd United just gave up after that.
So bad is United’s situation that even their own player Bruno Fernandes decided to speak out in a post-match interview. According to him, the team needs to “look in the mirror” because they’re “not at the same level” as Manchester City.
“Everyone has to look at themselves. You have to look in the mirror at what you are doing wrong. You cannot change the mentality of anyone else, you have to look at yourself and understand what you can do better.”
One can only expect that the same ‘OleOut’ hashtags would once again be trending on social media (as has been the case in recent times) as Manchester United fans are given even more reason to doubt their manager and demand for a change.
