Monroe is an eight-year-old who found a way to live her life like any other child despite her disability. The little dreamer has found a way to see the world without her eyes.
She didn’t lose her eyes in an accident or an illness, she wasn’t born without them. Little Monroe was born without eyeballs, empty sockets. It’s a very rare condition called bilateral anophthalmia.

She never even had the chance to see the world but she is choosing to enjoy it in her own little way. Despite having this rare condition, Monroe learned to play the Piano and how did she do it? “I see through my hands,” she said.
Her mother has been incredibly supportive of her. She helped her learn how to play the piano and how to do the house chores. Monroe uses prosthetics as a substitute for her eyes.

She is learning how to live her life like any other child and she’s really determined to live a happy life. Her disability has shown her that she needs to put in a little extra effort to go through life and this little girl is already doing so.
