The Gunners of North London have been denied the glorious feeling of a win, as they were held down and forced to share a point by a determined Burnley team.
The Gunners drew first blood when their skipper Aubameyang, scored a goal 6 minutes after kick-off. However, in a disapointing turn of events for Mikel Arteta’s boys, they lost their lead after Granit Xhaka made a costly mistake which Burnley’s Woods took advantage of to score a 39th minute equalizer.
While the gunners made efforts to get back to the controlling seat of the game, their attempts were frustrated by the Video assistant referee(VAR), a rejuvenated Burnley team and a tight Burnley defense.

At the end of the match, both teams take a point each. Arsenal retain their 10 position on the league table, but would have to wave their shot at a late European qualification goodbye(no thanks to Xhaka).
Meanwhile, Burnley hangs in 15th place, with a total of 7 points between them and the relegation zone.
