Wolves has stunned South London club Chelsea, with their injury time victory, which left the blues absolutely no chance to fight back.
Chelsea drew first blood in the game, when Olivier Giroud sent the ball past Wolves’ keeper in the 49th minute. However, the blues only had a brief lead, as Daniel Podence scored an equalizer in the 66th minute.
The portuguese forward made an impressive move through Chelsea’s defenders, beautifully deceived Edouard Mendy with a wrong foot, and then struck the ball, which bounced off Reece James and sailed into Chelsea’s net.
From that point on, it became anybody’s game, with Wolves looking very dangerous with their attacks, and in the 95th minute, Pedro Neto struck a low shot far beyond Mendy, into the edge of Chelsea’s post and secured a shocking victory for Wolves.
This loss to Wolves, means that the blues would not be rising to a higher position on the Premier League table, and It is also their second consecutive loss in the league, as they were defeated by Everton last Saturday.
