Manchester City
thrashed Watford with a 6-0 triumph to grabs the first English Domestic treble, The Manchester Club beat Chelsea earlier in the campaign to claim the Carabao Cup (League Cup) and later on won the English Premier League with a single point ahead of Fierce rivals Liverpool FC.

And with another win over Watford at Wembley, it means Manchester City are the first club in English Football history to have won both the English Premier League (EPL), the Fa Cup and the League Cup (Capital One Cup or Carabao Cup) all in one season, since the inception of the English Premier League but “The Citizens” has gone an extra mile by adding the Community shield to this.

The club have seen a rise in performance since their signing of Pep Guardiola in 2016, it has seen much open style football and a lot of success under the Spaniard, having won back – to – Back English Premier League (EPL) and the same with League Cup (Carabao Cup) means Guardiola’s philosophy is surely an “All Head On” in today’s football.

Upon winning a Domestic Treble this season, Manchester City will now be hungry for a triumph in Europe, as their all-round Performance in the Champions League have been a major blow for Pep Guardiola since his Job at City. The Spaniard have suffered two back-to-back Semi-final eliminations in the last two seasons, losing to Tottenham in the most painful fashion this year, he must have wondered what happens to his luck in the competition in recent years.

The Former Barcelona Manager in his own view has thought his Domestic treble has more value than the Champions League itself, the manager says “I love the Champions League, but to [win the domestic treble] is more difficult than to win the Champions League,”

He added “”It’s one of the best seasons I have experienced as a manager,”

“I wouldn’t say the best, but one of the best for sure.

“To be the first to win the treble means that if one team is able to do that then another team will repeat it sooner or later.

“Winning four titles is something incredible.”

Their win has now complete the circle that was half way because of English League, In fact, prior to City’s win at Wembley, England was the only country in the British Isles not to have witnessed a domestic treble from a men’s side. Multiple teams from Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland have all completed the feat.

Scottish champions Celtic could even take their domestic treble tally to six by beating Hearts in the Scottish Cup final on May 25. A victory for the Scottish Giants would even see them complete an unprecedented treble treble.

But we can now appreciate City for Creating this memorable history, though Arsenal ladies have already completed the English Domestic treble in 2006, even adding the Women’s Champion’s League to it, but that’s isn’t enough as it was from female soccer.

Nobody have forgotten United’s famed Treble of 1998-99, Sir Alex Ferguson’s star-studded team won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Champions League. But they missed out on the League Cup after being eliminated by Tottenham in round five in early December.

Liverpool completed another unique treble of cups in 2000-01, too, winning the FA Cup, the League Cup and the then-Uefa Cup. But they could only manage a third-placed finish in the end of the league, 11 points behind champions Manchester United.

But all this while the English League was lacking just one thing, and that is what Pep Guardiola’s Men completed with an astonishing victory that left city skipper (Vincent Kompany) with no option than to declare his side “The best club in the whole world.

City Skipper Vincent Kompany also played a key role in his side’s treble and the Belgium international praised his teammates after their unprecedented domestic treble calling his side the best. he stated in a statement to BBC Sports “It’s the best team in the world for me. To set such a high standard, I’m not talking one year, but two years in a row, it’s a privilege.

“The first half was difficult. Second half, as soon as we scored the two goals, they had to come and press, it opened up the game for us and it made it more achievable to make chances.

“It wasn’t as easy as the score says, but what a season, what a tremendous club.

“It starts with the manager. We set the standard at the beginning of the season and said we had to go again, go back-to-back [win successive Premier League titles].

“It’s the group, a positive group of young players with talent, and of course quality.”

Guardiola has also Praised his side,  it’s an “Incredible Season” The Former Barcelona Coach started”. but also note; “We will all have to start from zero next season and will have to win again and again and again. It was incredible to win the title again, still we are there, but for the first day from next season we start from zero and I have to see (from the players).
